Review requests currently OPEN
So you have a book that you’d like reviewing? Thank you for thinking of me!
If I get requests that have clearly not read my reviewing policy, they will be deleted, as I have a to-read list a mile long as it is.
I accept books in these genres:
– YA Fantasy
– YA Sci-Fi
– YA Mystery
– YA Contemporary
– YA Historical Fiction
I will occasionally accept an adult book in any of these genres too, but I have a preference for Young Adult.
I don’t read horror or paranormal books.
Please give me prior warning of graphic depictions of the heart, blood, gore and hospitals (that includes needles); I can read them, but I dislike being surprised by them.
My preferred format is Mobi or PDF (For Kindle)
Of course, I am only human and I do have a life, so although I aim to turn around reviews as quickly as possible (around 4-6 weeks), there may sometimes be a delay and I apologise for the inconvenience.
I cannot review every book that I am sent, so please do not be offended if your book isn’t reviewed.
With that in mind, I am also very honest with my critiquing, so if I do give a bad review, it is nothing against you as an author, just my thoughts on the novel. If you are likely to be offended by a negative review, then I may not be the best person to ask for a review.
I also reserve the right to not post a review of your novel, should I feel that I cannot do it justice. This could be because I didn’t have enough to talk about, or enough time to read and review it etc.
Typically, I will only post the review to my blog; I do try to post to Goodreads too, however I often get behind on this.

I use the star system, and here’s a basic analysis of it:
5/5 stars – I loved it and it was a gift from heaven
4/5 stars – I enjoyed it, but there are some flaws that I can’t overlook
3/5 stars – Entertaining enough, not my favourite
2/5 stars – I read it, but it is problematic for me
1/5 stars – Well, that’s hours of my life I’m not getting back
0/5 stars – What.
