Hello, dear readers.
You know that feeling when you read a book and just need to rant about it for the unforeseeable future? When you just can’t get enough of the immersion of other worlds? When you’re in love with that one particular character?
(Or, conversely, when you can’t wait to get out of that world and hate that one particular character?)
I get that feeling too.
That’s why this blog exists – I can scream into the void of the internet about the books I’ve read, and you can scream right back.
*May Contain Spoilers* has been going strong for just over a year and a half now, bringing thoughts on all things bookish right to your screens. By following, you’ll be able to see reviews on books in these genres (falling on the YA spectrum, mostly):
You’ll also see the odd book tag, or post ranting about tropes. That’s my origin story, I suppose – screeching to my friends about love triangles and whether or not they are done well.
As for a favourite book, I would have to say Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson – scream yours back via the comments. (Or leave a more tasteful recommendation. Or don’t at all. Stare silently at the screen until I hear it through telepathy.)
Like most people in the reviewing world, you can find me skulking around on Goodreads.
If you prefer a lot of Les Miserables, I would suggest Tumblr.
Or, if you are a person of few words, maybe a trip to Twitter would tickle your literary tastebuds?
Although, for the artistic folk that like collecting pictures, I would direct you to Pinterest.
Til we meet again,
